Liquor sellers are warned

-

The KwaNonqaba Police have sent out a strong warning to those not abiding by the rules of the National Disaster Management Act regarding the sale of alcohol. Last Thursday, 8 October, during an operation in KwaNonqaba, the police seized alcohol from a reseller who was not operating within the current regulations. A man was arrested, charged and given a hefty fine.

"We want to urge liquor resellers and tavern operators to remain within the legal framework. If not, we will have to let the law take its course."
