The Mossel Bay Care Centre is a feeding scheme for 160 children at Ridgeview Primary School, providing them with breakfast and lunch each day.

Additionally, the centre caters to an aftercare centre in Powertown, providing 22 children with meals and assistance with homework, and providing a safe environment for engaging in fun activities.

The Care Centre has been invited to help cater for 6 000 men at the Mighty Men Conference at Bartelsfontein Farm on the R327 road outside Mossel Bay from Friday, 15 December to Sunday, 17 December.

For a small organisation like the Mossel Bay Care Centre, purchasing the necessary ingredients is not budgeted for. Therefore, it seeks assistance from the community and local businesses.

Seeff Properties has committed to aiding the Care Centre in gathering donations or ingredients for the curry and rice stall they will host to raise funds for the centre. Both monetary contributions and ingredients will be greatly appreciated. The estimated total cost of the effort will be R88 704.13.

Ingredients or donations can be dropped off at one of Seeff's offices: 35A Kaap de Goede Hoop Avenue, Hartenbos; 85 Long Street, Great Brak; or 205 Flora Road, Dana Bay.

Another project initiated by Seeff is the QR code project. Businesses can pay R5 000 to feature on the curry and rice tubs that will be sold at the event. A sticker displaying the company name and a QR code will be affixed to the tubs.

Companies can choose whether the QR code will link to their specific website or to any other information.

Donations can be deposited into the Mossel Bay Care Centre bank account. For the account details and more information, call 044 696 4080 or 076 510 0225.
