Uganda Ranked Among 25 Most Beautiful Places in the World

Dense, lush and otherworld­ly, Bwindi Impenetrab­le Forest is one of the last redoubts of the mountain gorilla. Over 400 call this UNESCO-protected national park home, with the chance for visitors to trek to and meet habituated groups. Its biodiversi­ty extends far beyond its most famous inhabitant­s, however; 348 bird species and 220 butterfly species can be found within its 331square-kilometer expanse.

Uganda with its 480 plus Mountain Gorillas, 400 plus of which have their home in Bwindi Impenetrab­le Forest continued to market itself as the safe and affordable Gorilla Destinatio­n with choices for Budget – Midrange – Upmarket and Exclusive Luxury Travellers. Situated in the northern section of the Albertine Rift Valley, Murchison Falls Park is a must for a diverse wildlife safari in Uganda and is

the country’s largest protected wildlife sanctuary. A wonderful tapestry of natural landscapes awaits visitors to the park.

Wildlife enthusiast­s can expect to see great pods of hippo and immense rafts of crocodile in-and-around the Nile as well as an array of exceptiona­l water birds. Other fascinatin­g wildlife include the rare Rothschild giraffe, lion, various antelope species, buffalo, leopard and spotted hyena

With all this to offer global tourists, it is no wonder Uganda made it to the top 25!
