2 elderly passengers die
Aberdeen Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide after two passengers were killed in a taxi accident on the R61 between Beaufort West and Aberdeen on the morning of 11 October.
According to Capt Bradley Rawlinson, police spokesperson, the vehicle overturned around 45 km outside of Aberdeen at 01:20, after the driver allegedly lost control.
"Two passengers, aged 74 and 87, were declared dead on the scene by EMS personnel," said Rawlinson. The 38-yearold driver and eight remaining passengers were transported to the Aberdeen Hospital.
