SAPS centre closed for decontamination
The Community Service Centre in GraaffReinet has temporarily been closed, after a member of the Graaff-Reinet SAPS tested positive for Covid-19.
“The closure is temporary and decontamination will take place soon,” Capt Bradley Rawlinson, spokesperson of the Graaff-Reinet SAPS, told the Advertiser this morning, 14 October.
According to Rawlinson, local police will utilise the back-end of the Barney Eyssel Hall, which is on the premises of the GraaffReinet Police Station. The community will be informed once the service centre reopens.
In the meantime, the contact numbers for the centre are 049 807 1180 and 082 300 2196.
“SAPS management apologises for any inconvenience caused,” Rawlinson concluded.
