Residents invited to participate in IDP
The Oudtshoorn Municipality has started a series of public participation meetings with the view of drawing up the IDP (Integrated Development Plan) for 2021/2022. The meetings are held to allow members of the public to give input and to ask questions about issues which concern them.
The first meeting was held in Blomnek on Monday 12 October and meetings will continue at various venues until Tuesday 27 October.
Meetings were also held on Tuesday and Wednesday in Dysselsdorp. Tonight's meeting is scheduled to be held at the
Toekomsrus Community hall. The executive mayor, Chris Macpherson, as well as councilors will be available at each of the public meetings and residents are urged to attend the meetings which start at 19:00 on the dates as advertised in newspapers and on the Mmunicipalitiy's website.
