Rimbault now CEO as De Kock takes newspapers’ reins
Group Editors Company and Holdings has grown a lot over the past few years. Due to the growth of the group, it has become necessary to make certain changes from a management point of view.
In light of this, managing director Peter Moolman has promoted Nicole Rimbault, former operations director of the Group Editors newspaper division, to group CEO.
Under Nicole's guidance since 2008, the company experienced huge growth, adding additional publications as well as a comprehensive, fullfledged digital strategy.
With Nicole moving into the CEO role, the board decided to promote Servaas de Kock to operations director of the Group Editors newspaper division with immediate effect. Servaas has over 25 years' experience in media and joined Group Editors at the end of 2014 as sales and marketing manager. In 2018 he was promoted to sales and marketing director. Apart from his involvement with Group
Editors, Servaas also leads the digital strategy of Caxton and CTP as digital group executive. He will continue to fulfil both roles.
Servaas thanked Nicole and the board for this new, exciting opportunity. "To take over the operational management of such a dynamic business is a massive opportunity.
