Since December 2019, South African consumers have heralded dotsure.co.za as most trusted insurance brand, according to the consumer watchdog and notorious complaints platform HelloPeter.com. This is a remarkable achievement for a Garden Route-based business, that now employs well over 800 people locally, and has recently celebrated its 11th birthday.
Although dotsure.co.za is largely recognised as the country's biggest pet insurance brand, the business was built on a strong foundation of personal and commercial lines insurance. In fact, with the recent acquisition of the Hollard Direct Insurance portfolio, we will certainly start to see the brand building its reputation in some of the other product categories. They have already alluded to this in their latest TV commercial.
One of the key focuses for dotsure.co.za is the underserved market for top quality commercial insurance for the SME market. This market has been dominated by a small number of very large and inflexible incumbents, and the company is dead set on offering a flexible solution that the market has been crying out for.
"Not only have we created one of the most flexible, customisable solutions available in the South African market, but we've done it with the customer at heart," says company COO David Roache.
The commercial lines product also comes pre-packaged for niche businesses such as vet practices, churches or BnBs, with specific, tailored benefits that demonstrate a keen understanding of each individual industry. A contractors all risk and plant all risk product has also been developed for contractors.
dotsure.co.za is now selectively growing its broker network for the distribution of these excellent products.
