2 JAGUAR F- PACE

-

The first sport-utility from Jaguar is, as you’d expect, aimed at the owner who demands driving dynamics. At the same time, as a product of the Jaguar Land Rover family, its off-road credentials aren’t to be sniffed at.

Like its sedan counterparts, the F-pace is based on aluminium-heavy architecture. It’s packed with high-tech electronics, from cutting-edge driver aids to what the company calls the world’s most advanced infotainment system: Incontrol Touch Pro offers everything from a central display to a virtual HD instrument cluster and Wi-fi hotspot ability. The F-pace also marks the world debut of Activity Key, a waterproof, wearable technology for active lifestyles, allowing the keys to be securely locked inside the vehicle.

It uses chassis technologies derived from the F-type, including Torque Vectoring, Adaptive Dynamics and Configurable Dynamics. Engines include a 132 kw Ingenium diesel, supercharged 280 kw V6 petrol and 221 kw/700nm V6 diesel.

The F-pace’s torque on-demand all-wheeldrive system is Jaguar’s most sophisticated yet and has the highest torque capacity. Segment-leading traction control systems include Adaptive Surface Response (ASR), developed from Land Rover’s Terrain Response technology. For smooth pullaways on extremely slick surfaces, All Surface Progress Control (ASPC) automatically controls the throttle and the brakes, and Low-friction Launch (LFL), uses a very progressive throttle map.
