A GREAT DRINK
Teddie’s Peanut Butter Dream, named for the Teddie’s Peanut Butter brand, was invented by Alexandra Koblan at Bully Boy Distillers in Boston. You can order it at the Bully Boy tasting room, but you can also make it at home. The key is fat washing. You soak the peanut butter in rum to impart the peanut-butter flavour in the spirit without adding the slickness of the fat itself. And since you have to use an entire bottle of rum for the fat washing, it’s more than just an everyday drink. It’s a drink for entertaining. Invite some friends over and serve.
