-

BOOK your seat for the premier event on all things women – the POST/SAB Women’s Day breakfast, which will take place on Wednesday, August 2, from 7.30am at the ICC in Durban.

Aimed at encouraging, supporting and empowering women, the annual event usually draws women from all walks of life for a morning of inspiration, debate, music, comedy and fun.

With the theme being women empowerment, the event will be emceed by the powerful comedic force, Maeshni Naicker, of Keeping Up with the Kandasamys fame.

With her wit and charm, the stage, radio, TV and film personality, who featured in the Broken Promises trilogy, is already plotting out how to make your breakfast an experience that will not be easily forgotten.

Be inspired by Keeping Up with The Kandasamys director, the graceful Jayan Moodley.

She will speak on her career and how she has carved a path for herself, and fellow female directors, to stand tall in a male dominated industry.

Durban songbird Natalie Rungan, a renowned R&B vocalist, will not only perform, but share her inspiring success story.

Rungan and Moodley will be part of a panel discussion, speaking on the importance of women building each other up.

The other panelists will include Shobna Persadh, Corporate Affairs Director: South Africa at South African Breweries; Marlene Govender, General Manager, Marketing, Sales and Events at the ICC; and Usha Maharaj, a success strategist, coach, mentor and facilitator.

Tickets cost R450, which includes a buffet breakfast and goodie bags.
