The Greenwood Park Shree Ranganathar Temple Society will observe Purtassi every Saturday at 10.30am until October 17.

The Phoenix Thamizh Prathanay Kazhagam on Fernham Drive will observe its Skanda Shastri prayer from October 20 to 25 at 6.30pm on weekdays and 4pm on weekends.

The South African National Blood Service, in conjunction with Rainham and Centenary Park Sai Centres, will host a blood drive on October 22 at the Phoenix Secondary School from 10am to 3pm.

The KZN Advocacy Group will host a free Mental Health Advocacy Walk on Sunday at 9am at the North Beach Amphitheatre. There will be free health screenings.

Bhajan singer and motivational speaker, Pundit Munelal Maharaj of TrinidadTobago, is in KwaZulu-Natal for a series of Aathmavani discourses. Today he is at the Hindu Seva Samaj Hall in oThongathi, tomorrow at the AMF Hall in Newlands West and on Friday at the Saligram Hall in Clare Estate. All discourses will start at 7pm.
