The Greenwood Park Shree Ranganatha­r Temple Society will observe Purtassi every Saturday at 10.30am until October 17.

The South African National Blood Service, in conjunctio­n with Rainham and Centenary Park Sai Centres, will host a blood drive on October 22 at the Phoenix Secondary School from 10am to 3pm.

Bhajan singer and motivation­al speaker, Pundit Munelal Maharaj of TrinidadTo­bago, is in KwaZulu-Natal for a series of Aathmavani discourses. Today he is at the Hindu Seva Samaj Hall in oThongathi, tomorrow at the AMF Hall in Newlands West and on Friday at the Saligram Hall in Clare Estate. All discourses will start at 7pm.
