An instigator not a victim

- A FIRM BELIEVER IN THE TRUTH Chatsworth

I READ with interest and amazement the article “Devotees in temple fracas over video” (POST, March 14 –18).

The story was so carefully fabricated that one would be enticed to believe that the 58-year-old woman was indeed a victim. However, she is not the victim, but an instigator.

Let me set the record straight. The reason why I refer to that article as a mere story is because it was fabricated and twisted to make Lovie Naidoo seem so innocent. She is not.

She has deliberately twisted the truth for her own selfish reasons. It was also stated that she records the service every week, so that she can learn from the scriptures and discourses.

If this was the motive behind her recording, it would have been applauded. However that is a blatant lie.

My question to Naidoo, why do you go to temple at 7am on Sunday and start recording when the service starts at 8am?

Naidoo has been a member of the temple for several years; why does she now feel it important and beneficial to start recording the discourses and scripture since the start of the problems at the temple?

Makes one think, doesn’t it? Does she have ulterior motives?

Naidoo’s motives are of a devious nature – that is to record the goings-on of the temple and to pass on to “others” to use as ammunition against certain temple devotees who have painstakingly tried their best to hold on to the temple, so that it does not fall into the hands of the wrong people who are only out for personal and material gain.

Naidoo alleges she was kicked by a fellow devotee.

The devotee in question is a gentle soul and never kicked Naidoo as stated in her “story”, yet another fabrication of the truth.

She assaulted the devotee with a chair. The devotee was injured on his wrist.

Furthermore, as she ran outside with the chair, she slipped and fell.

Naidoo, a Tamil school teacher, was supposed to be a role model for all her students and the youth of the temple.
