The Sarva Dharma Ashram will host its annual fundraising dinner in commemoration of their 25 years of service, at the Woodhurst Multicultural Centre, on August 18 from 4pm. The Durga Mahima Bakti Sewa will host its AGM on July 28 at 3pm in Verulam. The Botanical Society of South Africa's AGM will take place on Sunday, at the Durban Botanic Gardens visitors centre at 2pm. The Shree Sanathan Dharam Suthsung Sabha will host a nagara night in aid of temple funds, on July 27 from 7pm, at the Desai Hall in Clayfield Drive. Tickets are R50. The Asherville Saiva Sithantha Sungum will observe its Maha Sakthi prayer on Sunday at 10am. The Shri Suria Narayan Temple in Redfern, Phoenix, will observe its Mariammen prayer on Sunday and Madurai Veeran prayer thereafter at 4pm. The Tinley Manor Shree Siva Soobramaniar Temple will observe its annual Mariammen prayer on Sunday. The Greenwood Park Shree Ranganathar Temple Society will observe its Divine Mother Mariammen prayer on Sunday at 10am. The Buccleuch Temple, at the corner of Gibson and Old Pretoria roads in Buccleuch, Johannesburg, will host a fire-walking ceremony on August 5 at 10am. The Mariannhill Shri Siva Soobramoniar Alayam will observe its annual Mariammen, Madhurai Veeran and Gama Devi Pooja on Sunday from 8am. The Phoenix Thamizh Prathanay Kazhagam, in Redfern, will observe its annual Mariammen prayer. On Friday is the Gramadevi prayer at 6.30pm, Saturday is the Shakthi prayer at 4pm, and Sunday is the Paalkodum and Garagam prayers at 6.30am.
