Zuma turns to God

-

AS CRIES for Jacob Zuma to go grow louder and louder, the president is turning more and more to God.

At his 75th birthday celebration in Kliptown where Zuma called the whites who marched against him racists, the pastor reassured the president he had nothing to fear, as God was on his side and would protect him from the evil forces massing up against him.

Later, at a church service in Umgababa, where the pastors and the congregation warmly welcomed their VIP guest, Zuma was unrepentant for his moral and political transgressions and blamed apartheid for the wrongs in the country.

They were all imbued with the Holy Spirit, as they sang, danced and praised the president to high heaven. Of course, they were happy as Zuma would contribute generously to the church’s coffers for their love and support.

Yet again, Zuma attended a Good Friday church service in Johannesburg.

Why is Zuma becoming so religious now? Is it to better the chances of acceptance in heaven?

Doesn’t the Bible say all are welcome in the Kingdom of Heaven… if you only repent? T MARKANDAN
