MU­SIC AND SHOWS Laugh­ing Pro­duc­tions will host a new line-up of new blood on the com­edy scene from Septem­ber 29 to 30 at the iZulu The­atre at Sibaya. Laugh Lukker Com­edy will fea­ture DJ, singer, ac­tor and MC Yusuph Kadoo; and engi­neer­ing con­sul­tant Liam Johns, who opened shows for Loy­isa Gola, Marc Lot­ter­ing and Ja­son Go­liath. And The Beat Goes On, a Mo­town show seen through the eyes of DJ Su­per­fly, will be held at the iZulu The­atre at Sibaya from Septem­ber 16- 18. It will take au­di­ences on a nos­tal­gic trip from the 1960s un­til the present. Tick­ets at Com­puticket.

De­fend­ing the Cave­man, star­ring Tim Plew­man, will be staged at the El­iz­a­beth Sned­don The­atre from Oc­to­ber 2 to 14. It hu­mor­ously ex­poses the hunter-gath­erer in all of us. Tick­ets at Com­puticket.

Foot­loose will be staged at the El­iz­a­beth Sned­don The­atre un­til Septem­ber 17. It’s about a tena­cious and re­bel­lious city teenager who moves to a small town where rock mu­sic and danc­ing have been banned. The teen leads the young peo­ple in a protest against the ban­ning of the an­nual dance. Tick­ets at Com­puticket.

Shall We Dance will be staged at the Play­house Opera un­til Septem­ber 17. It will fea­ture close to 100 dancers from KZN’s top dance stu­dios. Tick­ets at Com­puticket.
