Windaba 2017

Windaba is Africa's leading wind energy conference, bringing together about 600 international and domestic decision-makers and stakeholders that are active in the contemporary wind industry.

The event provides a solution-focused platform for consideration of the challenges and opportunities for the established wind power market.

This year's event takes place under the theme, "Wind Power: Building Futures".

The conference programme will explore the current status of the South African renewable energy market and wind power within this, the policies needed to underpin market growth, as well as local socio-economic and economic benefits.

Other issues that will be highlighted include the transformation of the sector, local manufacturing and local content, and finance considerations, among others.

The conference will take place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre from 14 –16 November 2017.
