PICKING UP CHERRIES

Running from 16-18 November 2017, the annual Ficksburg Cherry Festival promises to be a fun day out for the whole family. Famous for being the cherry capital of the world, Ficksburg is a small town situated at the foot of the Imperani Mountain in the Free State. Each year, this small town is flooded with tourists who come to attend the muchanticipated Cherry Festival. During the event, live music, great food, festival games, and a collection of exhibitors will be available to the public.various farm tours also take place throughout the course of the event where guests have the opportunity to taste some of the local wines and produce.
