I could only hope that one day when I reached her age I would be able to pull off a quirky look like that with half as much flair.
Maagies vol, we continued towards Knysna, only reaching it near sunset. Still full from lunch, we unanimously decided to skip supper that night and create our own wine and cheeseboard platter (courtesy of the local Spar and our own ingenuity) instead. Personally, I feel as though this might have been the best decision we made throughout the trip; once checked in at The Lofts Boutique Hotel, we noticed an outdoor deck overlooking the Knysna Lagoon – and it was empty! Claiming it for ourselves, we perched on this deck, spread out our snacks, and chatted until the moon replaced the sun.
