MAINTAINING THE MOUNTAIN

Every year, the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway Company (TMACC) shuts down the cableway for two to five weeks for its annual maintenance. Acclaimed photographer, Gary Hirson, takes some behind the scenes shots of this epic feat. Roadtrip has compiled a selection of these photographs which will appear in Hirson’s recently launched book, Changing The Lines.
