NEW NAVARA 4×2

NISSAN EXTENDS DOUBLE-CAB RANGE

-

Nissan has recently expanded its Navara range with 4×2 double-cab derivatives that also uses the coil spring rear suspension of its 4×4 cousins, and according to Nissan this ensures superior handling and ride comfort.

Other innovative features in the 4×2 models include an Around View Monitor that uses cameras to display what is going on around you, as well as enhanced insulation with further reductions in engine noise, vibration, and harshness. Like in its 4×4 counterparts Bluetooth audio streaming and satellite navigation with 3D-mapping and live traffic updates are standard across the range, as well as an intelligent key with stop/start button.

The Navara 4×2 models are available with either a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed automatic gearbox and has a payload capacity of more than one ton and braked towing capacity of up to three and a half tons.

The Navara has a 229 mm ground clearance, but the raised suspension set-up and smart design have allowed for a three-degree improvement in the approach (33.0 degrees), ramp-over (25.2 degrees) and departure angles (27.9 degrees).

With the introduction of these models, the Navara range now offers 11 4×2 models. Prices for the six new 4×2 double-cab models range from R475,900 for the SE manual to R551,900 for the LE auto with leather seats, and Nissan Assured offers a class-leading warranty of sixyear/150,000 km and a three-year/90,000 km service plan.
