A deeper insight will help you to focus your goals in life

- ADELÉ GREEN

SO MANY of us find ourselves coming full circle with a problem that just won’t go away. There is one thing that you might not have thought about, which is as important as a good plan to succeed – your soul’s grand plan.

This week’s question comes from Mark in Joburg: “I am stuck in a vicious cycle. Every time I try to break free from it, I procrastinate, waste time, get distracted and focus on non-priorities. What do you suggest I do to achieve my goal?”

Albert Einstein said you can’t see a problem when you are in it, only from above or below it.

Einstein was also wise enough to know that life consists of patter ns and algorithms.

When we can recognise them, we can solve our own problems.

Dear Mark, if you are recognising that you are stuck in a cycle, then you need insight and a good plan to break out of it.

What good is a plan when you are locked inside a cycle and you can’t access that plan? You might have succeeded before but for some unknown reason, this time it seems impossible to find your way out.

Consider that deep from within, your subconscious mind might be guiding you to deal with this issue differently. When you harbour a psychological block, it will prevent you from moving forward.

This is your soul’s way to keep you on course with your destiny.

What many people don’t realise is that they create these unbreakable cycles – the beliefs that they require to achieve their new goals clash with something hidden inside of them.

To achieve their goal, they need to overcome the hidden block.

For years, I wanted a degree, but each time I tried to get one something happened to prevent my wish. In my final Unisa year, I landed a marvellous job opportunity. During the next go at another degree, my husband died.

The third time failed as well because of sensitive politics. Each failed attempt was as a result of a hidden lie that I believed because my father use to say: “Women do not need an education.” Until I made the link, my subconscious mind resisted all my attempts to get the degree.

You need to see the pattern and release the awareness consciously to break the cycle. When I could see my own illusion, I gave myself permission to be an educated woman.

I suspect you might have a hidden belief that prevents you from achieving what you set out to do.

Instead of frustrating yourself, your soul is trying to help you grow and evolve. Your resistance holds the key to your subconscious with a little surprise lesson.

The fact you keep coming full circle is the signal you need to keep a deeper commitment to yourself. Before you beat yourself up about it, I would like you to visit a coach, write about it or ask yourself two questions instead of waiting for life to give you a dramatic shock and a glimpse into the abyss with you wanting more from life.

Two questions to answer: which incomplete tasks, broken promises and unfulfilled expectations am I resisting? How will I feel when I’ve achieved my desired outcome and who have I become? Make the link and your intuition will guide you to do the rest.
