Automobility LA showcases concept vehicles that the upcoming year may offer

-

MORE than 60 vehicles made their debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show, now Automobility LA, held at the end of last year – surely as a teaser for the new year.

Located in the US’S largest car, luxury car and green vehicle market, according to JD Power, the show continues to be a prime platform for vehicle makers to launch products, collaborate and share their insights into the future of transportation.

Nearly half of these vehicles made world premières, including an all-new vehicle from Hyundai, a pickup truck from Jeep and a number of vehicles from Kia.

German luxury carmaker Audi presented the e-tron GT concept four-door electric performance coupé. Mitsubishi’s newest concept made its North American debut at the show.

About 57% of these debut vehicles spanned across several segments within the luxury class – including Volvo’s latest luxury sedan, the all-new S60, which made its car show debut alongside the all-new V60 Cross Country wagon.

The Polaris Slingshot three-wheeled roadster also revealed its 2019 lineup of models including the S, SL, SLR, and new Grand Touring.

“Cars are designed, purchased, tuned, customised and enjoyed year-round in Los Angeles,” said Terri Toennies, executive vice president and general manager of

Automobility LA.

“In a city that’s known for its car culture and overall passion for cars, there’s no better place to debut vehicles, reach influencers and engage with the masses.”
