Moto’s back and it’s razor sharp

-

LENOVO has launched its latest Moto smartphones – a move that sees the return of Motorola devices – with a twist to take the next era of mobile technology to another level in the country.

This comes after Lenovo bought Motorola Mobility from Google in 2014, and rebranded Motorola as “Moto” this year.

The Chinese computing giant said yesterday it would be “attacking” the highly competitive market with its Moto Z, a 5.2mm razor-thin premium smartphone made from military aircraft-grade aluminium and stainless steel.

The icing on the cake are the Moto Mods Family attachments, such as the JBL SoundBoost speakers, the Insta-Share Projector, and the Incipio power packs to save battery life.

The phone also comes with a water-repellent coating, which shields it from rain, splashes or spills.

The Moto Z, which will be available at select retailers from November 1, will retail at R12 999. – ANA
