James strips to make an exception

AS Lady Rose in Downton Abbey, she was fun-loving though hardly racy.

But in her latest role, Lily James is far raunchier, stripping for a steamy sex scene in romantic wartime film drama The Exception.

James, 28, who plays a Dutch Jewish chambermaid, is seen wearing nothing but a long silver pendant as she seduces a Nazi captain, played by Jai Courtney, who has been sent to root out British spies.

The pair have sex on the kitchen table – which may come as a shock to fans of James’s previous work that included the title role in Disney’s 2015 version of Cinderella.

The Exception is set to be released in the UK in June. – Daily Mail
