Kenton-on-Sea home makes top eight on Ultimate House Hunt list

The luxury property in Kenton-on-Sea in the Eastern Cape is on a list of eight best homes in the world that have been released as part of an Ultimate House Hunt competition, which runs until July 18 on the home and lifestyle web site, HGTV.
The winner stands to scoop $10 000 (about R130 000).
The Kenton-on-Sea property’s challengers include homes in Greece, Costa Rica, Canada, Dominican Republic, Malaysia and Switzerland.
There is a second South African entry, a four-bedroom en suite residence in Ballito, KwaZulu-Natal.
This expansive property, with its theatre room, koi fish ponds and rim-flow swimming pool is valued at R28m.
The Ultimate House Hunt list was compiled by real estate companies from across the globe and Luxury Portfolio International.
