Putin chats with Xi

RUSSIAN President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping discussed the settlement of the situation on the Korean Peninsula by telephone, the Kremlin said yesterday.

“They touched on some urgent issues on the international agenda, including the settlement of the situation on the Korean Peninsula.”

Xi congratulated Putin on the successful opening of the Fifa World Cup.
