MEMBERS of Bonitas Medical Fund are now being offered shopping vouchers and discounts on insurance products through the fund’s new multi-insurer platform. Gerhard van Emmenis, the principal officer of Bonitas, says: “We know that in difficult financial times money matters can add to stress levels. For this reason, we have adopted a multi-insurer platform which offers members discounted lifestyle vouchers, as well as exclusive offers on gap cover and insurance products.” This is not another loyalty programme, says Bonitas. The benefits do not cost anything, there are no points, no levels of membership and you don’t have to work for rewards. The platform is supported by a revamped member zone to allow members to manage their health cover on any device. This includes submitting claims, applying for chronic medicine and viewing benefits.
