SuperSport & Chiefs to tussle for RamaG?

-

A possible bidding war between Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport is brewing in the background, with Rodney ‘ RamaG’ Ramagalela once again being linked to two of the cash-rich Gauteng clubs.

According to Siya sources, both clubs have reignited their interest in the player as the January transfer window approaches, and could bolster their respective squads for the second half of the 2018/19 season.

The 29- year- old striker was the Top Goalscorer in the Absa Premiership last season, along- side Percy Tau, although has only managed to score one goal in all competitions for Polokwane this campaign.

Siya sources have now indicated that Ramagalela is keen on facing a new challenge elsewhere, if given the opportunity, though for the time being is a Rise and Shine player.

According to sources in the know, City were willing to sell the player during the July/ August transfer window, though had priced the Bafana Bafana international at around R9 million, and no interested suitors were willing to meet the asking price.

The interest in RamaG has not waned, though it remains to be seen whether City are willing to entertain offers and, if so, if they be willing to negotiate at a fee lower than R9m.

In a flash poll conducted on the Soccer Laduma website, 100% of the readers think that Rodney Ramagalela should look at taking on a new challenge in his career and turn out for one of the Gauteng giants.
