Mentally Pirates have the upper hand

“On paper, I can safely say that this game is in favour of f OrO lando Pirates, but that is on paper. As for Mamelodi Sundowns, I think that a lot is happening there. The combinations that I thought would be working out for the team and that I was banking on to turn their season around are not coming forth. The question is, how long are they going to take? Is it a question of whether they are getting better and better? Or a question of the t time when they will get things right again? Is this going to be the game where they will turn things around? So that is all on paper, but for me, a team like Sundowns are a difficult s sides to predict which way the gameg is going to go because theirthi h current form doesn’t change the fact that they have quality and can just turn it around in a game of this magnitude. This could be the turning point. Coach Micho should be very worried because every now and then when a team is on a winning streak or an unbeaten run, there is always that next game that you get too worried about and they are in that very same space right now, and you can’t blame them. Yes, they are winning and they are in a good space after reaching the semifinal of the Telkom Knockout and all is looking good on their side, so basically it is going a bit too good for them, which could play either way for them in this game. Mentally Pirates have the upper hand going into this game. They will be in a better position, but they are playing away, which makes it even more of an interesting game. Sundowns will be looking to put on a good show in front of their supporters and get all three points on offer. Going into a game like this you need to have the right mentality and it doesn’t mean that Pirates are going to go there and walk all over Sundowns. I think that it is going to be one of those that will end up in a draw, but we will have to see what happens when Saturday afternoon comes.”
