M1 Crystal Palace vs Liverpool: This pool starts with a R100,000 carryover which should generate a total pool of some R2 million. Last season’s two league meetings between them both ended in draws.

M2 Blackburn Rovers vs Leeds United:

Leeds are third in the English Championship log as they bid for a quick return to the Premiership. They have won three in a row over Blackburn, including their last visit to Ewood Park.

M3 Sunderland vs West Bromwich Albion: Sunderland have posted only one win in their last five games and are five points behind their rivals in the English Championship standings. West Brom have won three of their last five and are in fifth spot in the Championship table.

M4 Polokwane City vs Kaizer Chiefs:

Polokwane City have not won in their last five matches, but did draw three of them. Chiefs’ last game yielded an away success at Swallows.

M5 Manchester United vs Bournemouth:

United have won five and drawn one of Bournemouth’s six previous trips to Old Trafford, scoring 17 goals in the process.

M6 Sheffield United vs Brentford: These two clubs have never met in the English Premier League. The Blades are on a run of five matches without defeat against Brentford, but their last meeting was in 2019 and there’s much water under the bridge since then.

M7 Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Nottingham Forest: The last two clashes between them both ended in 1-1 draws and this promises to be a really hard-fought encounter.

M8 Chippa United vs Lamontville Golden Arrows: PSL clash. Chippa have won only once at home in nine past visits by Arrows with six draws and two defeats.

M9 Aston Villa vs Arsenal: EPL table-toppers Arsenal have won on their last two visits to Villa Park in Aston Birmingham, where they scored four goals in February.

M10 Orlando Pirates vs TS Galaxy: Pirates played Swallows on Tuesday night and will find themselves back in action four days later against a Galaxy side who have date in the Carling Knockout final on 16 December. Galaxy have never beaten Pirates away previously.
