Hunt to revisit Nga interest?

-

SAFA will meet them halfway by continuing with courses in SA next year, but with limited space given the costs. But neighbouring countries like Lesotho, Botswana and Zambia could be inundated with calls from Mzansi to accommodate their PSL counterparts ahead of crunch time.

The official announcement came from SAFA at a press conference following the NEC meeting. However, there’s been no word yet from the League, but it is not expected they will go against the mother body.

SuperSport United head coach Gavin Hunt could revisit his interest in former player Eva Nga for a potential loan deal from Orlando Pirates.

In November last year, the Siya crew reported that the Cameroonian striker was one of the names on

Hunt’s wish-list.

As was the case last season, the burly forward has been left frustrated with limited game-time, with just two appearances to his name in all competitions so far this season, and has spent more time in the stands than he has on the field since arriving at Houghton.

While the Matsatsantsa mentor failed in his attempt to sign the player on loan last season, this publication understands that the 59-year-old could revisit his interest in the former Chippa United man, with an exit from the Buccaneers looking more likely at this point in time.

A stumbling block in the deal could be the relationship between the two clubs, as SuperSport pulled a surprise on Pirates by signing Terrence Dzvukamanja from right under their noses at the start of the campaign, this after the player had, according to the Soweto giants, expressed a wish to go back home to

Zimbabwe.

According to information made available to Soccer Laduma, the 30-year-old has two years left to run on his contract with the side, but he could feature in the colours of Matsatsantsa if Hunt gets his way at the second time of asking.
