This week’s Soccer Laduma guest predictor is former Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Banks Setlhodi. 15 Dec (22:00) - Nottingham Forest v Tottenham Hotspur (English Premier League): The Lilywhites have been blowing hot and cold this season, but the 4-1 win against Newcastle United will have them in high spirits for this away trip. Forest, meanwhile, need to start collecting points before January when they will likely lose several players to AFCON.

16 Dec (19:30) - Burnley v Everton (English Premier League): Everton have a mountain to climb after having 10 points deducted for breaches of financial sustainabi­lity rules. This weekend they travel to Burnley on the back of a fantastic victory over Chelsea. Good news for the home side from coach Vincent Kompany is that “it won’t be too long before Lyle Foster is able to come and help”. The SA striker is undergoing treatment for mental health issues.

Banks Setlhodi: 17 Dec (15:30) - Golden Arrows v Orlando Pirates (DStv Premiershi­p): After a great start to this season, which saw coach Mabhuti Khenyeza win a PSL Coach of the Month award, Arrows are backpedall­ing on the league table. They’ve lost four consecutiv­e PSL matches and dropped down to seventh spot. The Buccaneers have been posting convincing wins and are slowly but surely turning their league season around.

17 Dec (16:00) - Brentford v Aston Villa (English Premier League): Villa beat second-placed Arsenal this past weekend, just days after claiming the scalp of defending champions Manchester City.
