They are now one place above West Brom (the Baggies), although the gap between them is 11 points.
M2 Deportivo Alaves vs Villarreal: Alaves sit two points above Villarreal in the LaLiga standings and have also won on nine of the 13 previous occasions that they have hosted them.
M3 Cagliari vs Lazio: Cagliari have lost their last three matches and are third from bottom in Serie A. Lazio have slipped to ninth in the standings.
M4 Fulham vs Bournemouth: First of six EPL matches in the pool. Fulham’s run of six games without a win is divided into three draws and three losses. Bournemouth have drawn their last two outings.
M5 Liverpool vs Burnley: Liverpool’s loss to Arsenal last weekend has opened the door for their rivals, but they have won their last four outings against Burnley and should get three points here.
M6 Luton Town vs Sheffield United: The Blades have just 10 points and are bottom of the English Premier League log. They have collected only two points on the road this season. Luton are fighting hard to survive and are one place above the relegation zone with 20 points.
M7 Tottenham Hotspur vs Brighton & Hove Albion: Spurs have won 10 of 13 past home games against the Seagulls with a draw and just two losses.
M8 Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Brentford: Wolves sit mid-table after a 4-2 win at Chelsea last weekend, while Brentford are sliding down the table after just one win in their last eight EPL games.
M9 Real Sociedad vs Osasuna: Sociedad have managed to score only three goals in their last five LaLiga clashes. Osasuna last won away at Sociedad back in 2005.
M10 Nottingham Forest vs Newcastle United: Forest have collected a solitary point from their last three league games. Newcastle have won their last three away games and look to be finding form again.
