His performance made me reminisce about Mailula, who was also promoted from the youth structures. I think perhaps he went to ply his trade abroad prematurely. Man City proved that they are championship material against their rivals. Foden was at his best as he scored a brace. His first goal, from outside the 18-yard area, was brilliant. He is a marvel to watch, passes the ball well and gave the Man United team a hard time. Haaland failed to score with the keeper at his mercy a minute before half-time but made up for it by scoring the last goal. It was his 17th league goal in the current season and he will likely defend the Golden Boot award. On a different note, de Rossi has done wonders since taking over from Mourinho at Roma. He has won six games out of seven and has also improved the away record as he has won three in a row. The mission to return to Champions League football next season is now a possibility.
