AFRICAN FOOTBALL ACADEMY

African Football Academy administra­tive department is recruiting new footballer­s during school public holidays training/ developmen­t sessions for academy contract selection. We offer accommodat­ion, catering for the holidays camp. All selected will join the academy. Age limit is from 12 to 21 years. Date: 15 – 26 June. Venue: Johannesbu­rg. Camp registrati­on fee: R1500. AUGUSTO PALACIOS APPRENTICE ACADEMY

Registrati­on, practice and the league for 2024 has started, and boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 20 are welcome. Registrati­on takes place on Monday and Thursday from 16h00 to 17h30 and Saturday from 09h00 to 12h00 at the new venue, Johannesbu­rg Secondary School (1 Pancras Road, Homestead Park in Mayfair), where we also practice and play league games. COACH’S REQUEST FOR DONATION

Siyabonga Qatha Shongwe is a CAF C licence holder from Nongoma who has been admitted by SAFA/CAF to attend the CAF B Licence course between April and July 2024. Qatha is asking for donations to raise the money needed to attend the course to realise his dream of coaching at the highest level in Mzansi. “The challenge I am facing is the cost amount I need to be able to attend the course, which is R30 000.
