Soweto education the biggest loser

WELL-known Soweto educationist Lawrence Lekaota Lefatola passed away on September 15 2016.

Lefatola was born in old Western Native Township otherwise known as Sophiatown, Johannesburg.

His life journey bears testimony to the fact that he indeed was a multi-talented individual who was not just a renowned educationist but was also a lay minister and choral choir master.

Lefatola obtained his teaching diploma at Diocesan Training College in 1955. He also worked as a typist at the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and freelance reporter for Golden City Post and Drum.

Lefatola married Regina Poppy Mosley in 1961.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, sons Blake and Ashley, brother and sisters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Robala ka kgotso kolobe.
