EMOTIONAL FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

YESTERDAY marked the first day of school around the country, and celebrity moms took to social media to share pictures of their precious munchkins.

Despite the drama surrounding baby daddy Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye, Kelly Khumalo took to Instagram to wish her son Christian well.

“As he gets ready for school a big part of me is extremely happy yet emotional, we have come a long way my boy, yes you and I fight every 5 mins because of your extra ordinary character but then again I didn’t ask God for a normal boy, last week I asked what you wanted to be when you grow up, you said you want fly air planes. Well, son, your journey of becoming a pilot begins today.” (sic)

Maarohanye was released on parole last week after serving half his culpable homicide sentence for an accident that killed four school children in 2010.

He has since released an apology song.

Millicent Makhado, who plays Pretty in Scandal!, shared her daughter’s first day: “My daughter’s first day at school #GradeR2017.”

Speaking to Sowetan, Makhado said it was an exciting yet scary moment.

She added her little one, Reale- boga Mothiba, was excited about her new uniform and became sad when it was taken away from her.

“She started crying when she got to school and I also cried a bit.

“It was also difficult to get her up to go to school as she kept saying she will wake up the next day.”

Themba Shabalala, of Maritzburg United, also gushed about his son’s first day: “God I thank you for everything you are doing in my life. Today I have realised that I’m blessed more than the word ‘blessed’.

Heavenly Father what would I be without you. I am a really proud dad as I see my boy starting this beautiful journey, God I pray that you lead and guide him all the way,” Shabalala said.
