Born: March 26 1961

Died: March 30 2017 Funeral: Tomorrow, 10am at Nasrec Memorial Park Burial: Nasrec Memorial Park On Sunday March 26 1961, Nelisiwe Lorraine Musundire was born, a beautiful bundle of joy to Siphiwe and Busisiwe Ndlazi in Orlando, Soweto.

After high school, she studied for a teacher’s diploma at Ndumiso Teacher Training College in Pietermaritzburg, later completing a degree at the University of South Africa, where she majored in remedial education.

Her teaching career started at Orlando High School, took her to Altem High School and later Greenfield Primary.

Not only did Musundire teach, she also touched the community she was charged with. She mothered several children who she brought into her personal space, filling a void in their lives.

This she did with much passion, love and great keenness.

Ever adventurous, Musundire also delved into the world of small business – doing what she did best – serve food.

In this space she provided jobs, making a significant social and economic impact.

The absolute love of her life was her children Nompumelelo, Xolani and Simphiwe.

Each of her nephews and nieces were also very close to her heart

Family was the base on which she kept her balance.

Her grandchildren Siyanda, Khwezi, Nkwenkwezi, Samandosi, Busisiwe and Lesego made her beam with joy at any one time.

She was charmed onto the altar by the late Lovemore Musundire.

She was energetic, fun-filled, warm, and attracted friends from all walks of life.

Genuine in every aspect, her friendships spanned long periods of time, an indication that she cherished people who touched her life.

Her health slowly took a dive around 2015. She finally answered the call to meet her creator on March 30.

Musundire took a full round trip of life.
