Khanyi looks like a salmon, but better than in 2012

- Maditaba

Maditaba recently bumped into a “Show your photo from five years ago” challenge on Facebook, and found it quite interesting. Many people look like a ghostly image of their former selves, and sometimes it can be quite a compliment.

Take Bonang Matheba and Lerato Kganyago, for example, back when they hadn’t heard of sunscreen. Yoh, they looked like those promotions girls one would see at traffic lights handing out penis enlargement pamphlets.

Which of our favourite celebs have transformed drastically over the past several years for the better and for the worse?

Khanyi Mbau

Compared to how she used to look, Khanyi actually looks amazing. Her dress sense has moved up a notch, and all the cosmetic tweaks actually look good. Of course she should avoid seafood restaurants lest she be mistaken for a salmon. Great transformation.

Julius Malema

Madi does not know what to make of Juju’s dramatic weight loss. Public opinion seems to be that he looks unhealthy. Madi thinks he actually looks good a few pant sizes down. If his head would tow the line, he would be perfect.

Luyanda Potwana

The Nyan Nyan presenter should tell us exactly what the catering ladies on the show are feeding him, because he seems to be enjoying it. Look, Madi, thinks he still looks good. Madi loves the manly beard. But not the man boobs, of course.

DJ Cleo

One word: yummy! Gone are the ridiculous bleached hairdos, and in their place are tattoos and a chiseled body that shows that DJ Cleo is actually a handsome man.

Madi had a hard time seeing it all through the vests and those scarecrow arms. This one is a very good transformation!

DJ Zinhle

Zinhle, take my word for it, no one misses the cheap-looking wigs and weaves you used to adorn yourself with. You look absolutely amazing now, and your style has certainly evolved, which shows shopping in West Street was not a good look for you.
