From the onset you know you’re in for a treat on this album. His unique and amazing voice is just the cherry on top.

When he sings, he reminds you of the late

Vuyo Mokoena.

The 15-track album opens with the powerful Akasiyen’umuntu, which means “God is not a human being”. The praise and worship song gets you in the mood. In it, Dlamini seeks to highlight the difference between God and human beings. He points out that God always fulfils promises, and never lies.

Dlamini has worked with a team of established songwriters like gospel singer and producer Babo Ngcobo and Sgwili Zuma.

The album boasts powerful songs that have a strong message.

I’m sure traditional gospel lovers will press repeat more than a few times on all these songs. Even yours truly lost track trying to count how many gems there are on this album. 7/10
