Mantlhoa might have dropped out of university but she has big dreams.

Being an owner of a clothing manufacturing company has taught her a lot.

“I was an anthropology student and dropped out after my second year. I was forced to survive and I started working as a stylist. “Before starting my own company in 2014, I did not know how to sew. I went for training under the Department of Trade and Industry in 2015 and now I manufacture clothing,” said Mantlhoa.

She now owns a factory funded by the Ekurhuleni municipality.
