Born frees with cheap booze? No thanx

- Maditaba

So the June 16 pandemonium was upon us, and Maditaba couldn’t wait for it to be over because of how this sombre day has been turned into a joke by a lot of “born frees” parading around with cheap bottles of liquor.

Madi sighed so many times she could have inflated a hot air balloon. Luckily, she got invited to an epic event at The Dome: the Castle Lite Unlocks Travis Scott and Bryson Tiller concert.

Madi was in the hospitality suite where she didn’t have to risk someone spilling Savanna on her Jimmy Choo’s.

The organisers did a stellar job, and Travis and Bryson were amazing too, although Madi is not really a fan.

Cassper Nyovest and birdchested Ricki Rick also took to the stage.

Shame, Madi finds it sad when established musicians are reduced to opening acts waitse.

Thando Thabethe graced us with her forehead in the hospitality suite, and when Madi saw Miss Cosmo, she immediately turned away as she didn’t want to regurgitate her champagne at the sight of Miss Cosmo’s camel toe that she wears like an accessory wherever she goes. Someone who shocked Madi by showing up was Nomuzi Mabena, pictured, who Madi knows for ditching events she’s booked for. Either Castle Lite paid her a fortune to be MC, or perhaps promised her a one-year supply of styling gel so she can keep up her “licked by a python” hairdo.

Iyoh, Madi spotted the handsome rapper Reason looking a bit dazed. Madi wasn’t sure if it was the stiff stuff she saw him knocking back, but he looked like ET wanting to phone home. Pace yourself next time love. I heard french fries help.
