Lesotho and the region can’t afford a civil war
After the peaceful elections in Lesotho, we are saddened to learn the first lady was murdered on Wednesday.
This situation has the potential to plunge that country into turmoil.
The peaceful elections came as a result of the SA Development Community intervention. Whatever the intention of the killing, taking life is not the way of solving any dispute.
Lets hope the people of Lesotho will remain calm and let the law take its course. That country and the region can’t afford a civil war.
