All that hype can ruin a lavish Da L.E.S ‘celebrity’ party

- Nasty C Maditaba

Maditaba wants to start off by bidding a sad goodbye to Iko Mash.

She was one of few celebs who knew Madi’s identity and laughed off some of the scathing acid Madi threw her way over the years. She totally understood that Madi was simply doing her job.

Madi will truly miss you. O robale ka kagiso.

Let’s move along swiftly. Bathong, Madi got a random invite to Kong in Rosebank last week to celebrate Da L.E.S’s birthday.

Kanti, what happened to the lavish all-white party Da L.E.S?

Since the cops poured grey bath water on you, shutting it down the last time you tried to pull it off, did you throw in the towel?

Claps once!

Anyway, Madi was not disappointed. The place was a complete mess, with everyone pushing and shoving. Madi hates random events where every Tom, Dick and Sibusiso can simply purchase a ticket to gain access. Ridiculous.

However, Madi enjoyed seeing Nasty C. The boy is a great performer. I just wish he would find bricks or something to stand on while on stage. Madi almost broke her neck trying to get a good view.

The birthday boy himself was a complete let-down. Da L.E.S, of all the things in your wardrobe, a tracksuit was the best thing you could adorn yourself with? You looked like you were on your way to find out the winning fah-fee numbers. Sloppy. The performance was lukewarm too. Madi is still waiting on a hit from you, hle – it’s been years.

It was really nice to see the humble and sweet Khuli Chana. Madi noticed that he still hasn’t found a good skin-care product, so Madi recommends Cuticura. It worked wonders for my aunt’s blemishes. Madi didn’t stay long to see Mampintsha and Babes Wodumo perform. Madi spared her eyes from the sight of the protruding belly and red hair.
