Minister has super, flashy taste and style
He is described as a ‘modern man’
Mduduzi Manana is known for his penchant for fashion and a flashy lifestyle.
The Department of Higher Education deputy minister was a nominee at the controversial Politician of the Year Awards earlier this year.
Manana was nominated for Best Dressed Politician but was forced to pull out by the ANC.
Celebrity stylist Shaun Naki pointed out: “His style is impeccable. He pays attention to finer details ... from shirts and bespoke tuxedos to his casual look.”
Some of the designers who worked with Manana said his taste was opulent, high fashion and eclectic.
He has an appetite for colour, dabbling in lots of greens and dark purple and they described him as a modern man, taking a leaf from the style book of soccer icon David Beckham.
The once chubby man embarked on a body transformation for a more lithe version of himself.
Not one for small measures, he zaps around town in a Porsche Cayenne and orders some of the most expensive alcoholic beverages.
Close friends described him as “calm, playful, easy going, peaceful, jolly and giving”.
“He is always surrounded by people and loves entertaining and has a beautiful aura about him,” said an acquaintance who spoke on condition of anonymity.
Manana shows off his lavish lifestyle on social media, going on vacations in Mauritius and Brazil with his relatives as he has no wife or children.
