M1 Real Madrid v Manchester United: The UEFA Super Cup is being played in Skopje between last season’s Champions League winners and Jose Mourinho’s side, who won the Europa League. The last competitive game between the two clubs was in March 2013 when Real won 3-1 at Old Trafford in the Champions League.

M2 AFC Wimbledon v Brentford: There has been just a single previous meeting between these two clubs when Brentford won 5-3 at home in the English League trophy four years ago. Wimbledon sit one division below Brentford.

M3 Grimsby Town v Derby County: Grimsby began the new League Two season on Saturday with an away triumph at Chesterfield. Derby played on Friday on the opening day of the new Championship season and got a good away point at Sunderland.

M4 Luton Town v Ipswich Town: Luton have slipped down two divisions since they last met Ipswich when both sides were in the English Championship 10 years ago. Ipswich won 5-0 at home and 2-0 at Kenilworth Road.

M5 Wigan Athletic v Blackpool: These two clubs meet in the first round of the League Cup and then again in the English League Trophy later this month, plus later in the season in League One action as well. Wigan beat Blackpool 4-0 away when they last met in April.

M6 Wycombe Wanderers v Fulham: The League Two club hosts this League Cup tie but are up against an opponent two divisions higher. Both clubs drew their opening game of the new league season at the weekend. Fulham won 1-0 at Wycombe in the League Cup two years ago.
