We don’t deserve brutal attacks

-

I’m glad that musician Vusi Nova wasn’t killed. I feel sad for the nightmare those scumbags put him through. No one deserves to be brutalised for nothing.

Nova himself said those criminals told him they had been watching and following him for over a year. I’m surprised that one of them asked what he did for a living. As much as they didn’t kill him, they humiliated him.

No one deserves to be left near naked in unfamiliar surroundings.

Doing anything in South Africa and becoming good at it is becoming dangerous.

Unfortunately, more and more South Africans are looking at making a fast buck – in the process ditching hard work and the work ethic that has been the cornerstone of this beautiful country.

Our politicians and their cronies also need to look themselves in the mirror as to their role in making South Africa what it is.

How often have we heard politicians implicated in fraud totaling billions. People have now started thinking that cutting corners is the way to go.

Unfortunately, some want those riches from others using deadly, dangerous and unorthodox means.

Home invasions are increasing at an alarming rate. There’s no worse form of being violated like someone attacking you in your own home.

There are very few South Africans who have never been a victim of crime.

The only way of dealing with this trauma is to exchange stories and you somehow feel better when you hear you aren’t the only one.

We don’t deserve to live like this. Richardson Mzaidume
