Ajax spokesman Alexander Bertin Basson earlier claimed want-away defender Rivaldo Coetzee was staying, but it later emerged he was off to Sundowns.

AmaZulu

It was a quiet week for Usuthu. Coach Cavin Johnson told Sowetan that he was satisfied with his squad and was certain that there will be no any other player movement after his defender Ayabulela Konqobe joined Chippa United in a deal which saw Chilli Boyz’s striker Rhulani Manzini joining the Durban club last week.

Baroka

Siphelele Ntshangase was Baroka’s last signing, according to Bakgaga chairman Khurishi Mphahlele.

Since announcing the signing of Egyptian striker Amr Gamal last week, the university club had not made any new additions.

Sundowns communications manager Thulani Thuswa had no assurances that the Brockie deal would be concluded before last night’s deadline.

Maritzburg United
