M1 Cape Town City v Kaizer Chiefs:

City have a 100 percent record this season under new coach Benni McCarthy with five out of five successes and are already into the MTN8 final. Chiefs are still looking for a first triumph in this campaign as pressure continues to mount on coach Steve Komphela.

M2 Bidvest Wits v Golden Arrows:

It has been a horror start to the season for the champions, whose only success came when they met Arrows at home in the MTN8 quarter-final and came from two goals down to win on post-match penalties. Arrows’ last two games have both been 1-1 draws.

M3 Liverpool v Sevilla:

Sevilla beat Liverpool 3-1 in the 2016 Europa League final. The Reds are in the Champions League group stage for the second time in eight seasons and have won their last six European games at Anfield.

M4 Feyenoord Rotterdam v Manchester City:

Dutch champions Feyenoord play in the group stage of the Champions League for the first time since 2002. Their home record against English sides is five wins, one draws and six loses. This is City’s sixth-straight group-stage campaign

M5 Tottenham Hotspur v Borussia Dortmund:

Spurs, which are playing their home games at Wembley again, won one of four European home games last season. These two clubs met in the 201516 Europa League with the Germans winning 5-1 on aggregate.

M6 Real Madrid v APOEL Nicosia:

Madrid won 8-2 on aggregate in the 2011-12 Champions League quarter-finals when they last met the Cypriot club. This is APOEL’s fourth group-stage campaign.
